Re-investing in Communities
Communities and people are vital partners in our success. In order to sustain the agriculture industry and the rural communities it supports, we need to encourage and promote bright Canadians to pursue an education for tomorrow's opportunity.
Assist, encourage and reward are the goals of the Paterson GlobalFoods Scholarships programs. We offer a variety of scholarships, awards and bursaries within communities and post secondary institutions who partner in our industry.
Paterson GlobalFoods Scholarships
- High School Scholarships
- Fifteen scholarships of $800 each are awarded annually across rural Western Canada.
- Assiniboine Community College
- Five various bursaries, scholarships and awards are distributed annually, assisting students from entrance to graduation. Disbursements range from $1000 to $1500.
- University of Manitoba
- Senator N.M. Paterson Bursary, two bursaries of $2000 each disbursed annually to support agriculture students.
- University of Saskatchewan
- Senator N.M. Paterson Bursary, two bursaries of $2000 each disbursed annually to support agriculture students.
- Summer Student Grants
- Summer co-op student workers will be considered for a grant towards their continuing education at the end of their work term.
